Sephora VIB Rouge Sale – November 2017

If you shop at Sephora and you’re not a “Beauty Insider” then you might want to sign up quickly because at least twice a year Sephora has a sale – and the next sale begins this Friday (November 10, 2017).  There are different levels of being a Beauty Insider, and it increases based on how much you spend each year in store and online.  The initial level is “Beauty Insider”, the next is “VIB” and the top tier is “VIB Rouge.”  During the sale “VIB” and “VIB Rouge” receive 20% off on I believe all brands.  The “Beauty Insider” level receives 15% off on purchases.

There are a lot of posts on Instagram and blogs with recommendations on what to buy.  I’m going to share what I plan to buy and what’s on my wish list.

As far as what you should buy:  I say think of this as a treat for yourself.  Purchase something you’ve been wanting but haven’t bought for whatever reason.  Like Sunday Riley Good Genes or SKII Facial Treatment Essence.

My List:

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Brush ($46):  I have a similar brush by Pixi and I’ve seen this brush in store.  The Hourglass brush is fluffier and I’ll post later about both brushes.

Victoria Beckham Estee Lauder Smudgey Matte Eyeliner ($45):  This only comes in the shade Graphite.  I purchased this last month when I was in San Francisco.  I expected it to be a liquid liner but it’s powder and lasts all day.

Shhhowercap ($43):  I use one frequently by Benefit which I like but I like this design much better.

Wish List:

Hourglass Confession Refillable Lipstick in “My Favorite”:  I won’t lie, part of the appeal for me is the packaging.  Price is $34 with refills at $22.  You can purchase as many refills as you like and change them out using the same applicator/case.  There is a limited edition set priced at $54 which includes three LE shades.

Nest Room Diffuser ($44):  Not a need but I like having these around the house.  Scent is undecided.

Koh Gen Do foundation ($66):  I will probably wait until I return to San Francisco or Boston as I don’t know which shade is right for me.

I’d love to know what everyone plans to purchase, or ends up purchasing.
