Get The Look: Jessica Alba Vanity Fair After Party 2017

When celebrities attend events such as the Oscars I always think of their glam team with an arsenal of products of which I would surely be jealous, achieving looks that I’m sure I could not recreate.

Jessica Alba always looks so pretty and she looked stunning at the Vanity Fair After Party.  Of course she had someone who styled her hair and applied her makeup, but this is a look I can achieve and so can you.  Let’s break down how to achieve her  look with Honest Beauty products.

Prep strands with the Beyond Hydrated Moisture Milk Leave-in Conditioner, Honestly Protected Heat Defense Spray and Honestly Uplifted Volumizing Spray.

Using a flat brush, blow dry the front and sides of hair backwards, gather in a pony and fasten with an elastic band. Wrap a small strand around the elastic and secure with bobby pin.

With a 1.5 inch curling iron, wrap large sections throughout the pony to create slight waves and bend followed by a mist of the Honestly Effortless Sea Salt Spray for added texture. To complete the look, spritz hair with a medium hold spray and smooth flyaways with a toothbrush.

A modern take on new romantics,  bronzed and bold

Face:  Start with the Contour + Highlight Palette to sculpt features while bringing warmth to the complexion.

Eyes:  Sweep a creamy brown color across lids from an Eyeshadow Trio followed by a touch of Magic Balm on top for a glossy sheen and top off with several coats of the Truly Lush Mascara + Lash Primer (mascara is at one end of the tube and primer at the other end!).

Lips:  Create a subtle ombre pout using Blazed Garnet, the vampy maroon shade in the Falling For You Palette followed by the Truly Kissable Lip Crayon in Mulberry Kiss to brighten up the center of the top and bottom lips.

Products can be purchased online at Honest Beauty and they have a section where you can look for a store near you.  I’m ordering mine and hope the shipping is quick.

My hair isn’t long enough for the ponytail but I’ll give this makeup look a try for a special occasion (or maybe just because I feel like it).

What are your thoughts?  Is this a look you would try?  Hair?  Makeup?  Both?
