PCA Skin: Idea Complex Revitalizing Eye Gel

When it comes to skincare I tend to err on the side of looking for a brand that’s established and has a history of producing excellent products.  PCA Skin is a brand I haven’t had the opportunity to use so I was excited when they sent me their Ideal Complex Revitalizing Eye Gel (there is a discount for readers – details are coming!).  I like that PCA Skin was founded back in 1990 by an aesthetician (also developed by a dermatologist but I’m partial to aestheticians for personal reasons).  They have a history of results-oriented skin care solutions that are backed by science.

The Ideal Complex Revitalizing Eye Gel is a clear gel that can be applied not only under the eyes (dark circles, puffiness, fine lines/wrinkles) but also to the upper eyelid to firm sagging eyelids (or if you’re still young it will help delay the sagging!).  The gel contains some impressive ingredients – peptides, Niacinamide, Albizia Julibrissin Bark Extract and Fraxinus Excelsior Bark Extract.

I apply the eye gel after cleansing (in place of an eye serum) to my upper and lower lids.  It’s lightweight and absorbs easily, not interfering with makeup or other skin care products. When this gel dries it leaves the skin around my eyes soft (no tacky feeling that some gels have).  I apply my eye cream on top for moisture.

There has been an improvement in the puffiness under my eyes but It’s too early to notice a difference in my fine lines as I’ve only used it for a week so far.

Now for the discount!  PCA Skin is offering free shipping to my readers and blog followers on your first order (no minimum purchase required) at their website.  Use Promo Code: BrandBacker.  Expiration date:  June 30, 2016.
