The Ipsy Glam Bag is a monthly subscription where you receive 5 products (full size and deluxe samples) of makeup, hair and/or beauty products with a small beauty bag. They are delivered in a bright, shiny pink bag (which is fun and exciting to find in your mailbox!).
When you sign up they ask you to complete a few questions about yourself so the products you receive each month are based on your preferences. There is a different theme each month.
Price: $10.00 per month + tax and free shipping in the U.S. by USPS
The Glam Bag this month is so cute! The back side and lining are bright pink.
* I haven’t had a chance to try the products yet so the information I’m providing is based on reviews and descriptions from the ipsy website.
Promise Organic Ultra Moisturizing Argan Creme Facial Lotion
Moisturized skin is the best way to prep for makeup. This lotion has argan and olive oils for moisture, the ingredients are 100% naturally derived and it’s safe for sensitive skin. Purchase at CVS.com for $12-15 depending on size.
Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Oil
Another way to prep before makeup is using a primer. Face oils are the rage right now so Smashbox combined two steps into one with this product. It has a blend of 15 essential and lipid-rich plant oils that instantly absorb so it won’t leave your skin feeling oily. This can be purchased for $42 at the Smashbox website.
Luxie Beauty Flat Definer Brush 221
Made with synthetic bristles this brush is coated in an antibacterial solution. Purchase this and other brushes at the Luxie Beauty website.
Paula Dorf Baby Eyes Enhancer
Use this on your waterline to brighten your eyes or to the inner eye area as a highlighter. Price is $20 on Paula Dorf’s website.
Chella Lipstick Pencil in Passionate Pink
This is listed as moisturizing and contains Sunflower Oil and Vitamins C and E. Reviewers indicate this has good pigment and lasts. For more information to purchase, the price is $18 on the Chella website.
