Tula Hydrating Day & Night Cream with Probiotic Technology
I love receiving packages in the mail, the excitement of opening the box and discovering what’s inside (even when I KNOW what I’ve ordered!).
I won a giveaway on Instagram from Tula Skin Care. It’s a brand I’ve considered trying so I was pretty psyched to win a product. Naturally when the packaged arrived the excitement began!
Inside the package was a box carefully wrapped in beautiful turquoise tissue (nice presentation is not just about food). Packaging, from the container to the box it comes in, really does make difference. The jar is simple in design and made of a nice heavy glass in the color of the pretty turquoise with a brushed nickel lid. I love packaging that feels solid when I hold it. Usually such packaging is found with an expensive brand at a department store. But this cream is 1.7 oz and at $52 is reasonable for the product quality.
(This photo has a slightly darker tone so you could see the consistency of the cream)
I opened the jar and the cream was lovely with its whipped texture. Immediately I must touch it – but not without my spatula first (hygiene, folks). It feels soft and creamy. There is a very light scent (in my opinion) which is pleasant. Very little product was needed as it spreads easily and absorbs into my skin quite nicely. I keep wanting to touch my skin because it feels soft. In the morning my skin still feels soft and hydrated. This is a good product for someone who is looking for moisture combined with anti-aging ingredients. This will be my new winter moisturizer (right now we’re transitioning from warm days to fall weather so I’ll use it on colder evenings).
After using this moisturizer I ordered the Discovery Kit ($52) and was given a discount (sign up for their emails and you will receive a discount on your first order). The kit includes the following travel-size products: Purifying Face Cleanser, Illuminating Face Serum, Hydrating Day & Night Cream and Revitalizing Eye Cream. I haven’t had a chance to use the products yet but will post an update.
